The subject of playfulness was always on the agenda in the educational environment, given its relevance and historical heritage. The theme is linked to Education, as well as to teaching and learning relationships. In this way, the present work aims to show "ludic forms of teaching" as an option of motivating practice and facilitating learning as a whole, being applied to basic education especially in the teaching of Science. Every day we see the need for innovation in pedagogical practices, considering that feelings of discouragement, apathy, among other negative behaviors on the part of the students is something present, undesirable and consequently not contributing to the acquisition of knowledge. When it comes to innovation of the methodologies used, it is proposed the use of playfulness in the educational context in the intention that the latter become more pleasant, pleasant and engaging in the sense of enabling better results in the teaching and learning process. The research, as the one already elucidated, constituted a review of the literature, where several researches related to the theme were used, as well as some examples of applications of playful practices in the educational field, carried out by other authors, and experience of such practices as well as the relevance of including playful practices in the school context.
